Too Short to Box With God by Dylan

The mark-making in this piece is interesting and has a diverse range of marks. The checkerboard pattern is intriguing it almost looks like digital pixels. I like the idea of using a dip pen this way to create these bold marks. The marks moving around the table are effective and almost give the table the illusion and movement of spinning. Dylan successfully created a dream-like atmosphere. I enjoy the high contrast and decisions of which parts to leave in white and white to fill in to create this.
