The composition successfully pulls your eye around. The subjects are all very unique, and visually interesting in their own right. However the composition feels incomplete. I believe that if a fifth subject was added in the background of the top/middle right corner, directly above the cat, the composition would feel more complete. The unique marks and texture of each subject accurately portray each of them and make them each feel unique. The shading makes the subjects feel three dimensional and a complete tonal range is used. Contrast between the lights and darks is used well to draw the eye and also provide the eye with areas of rest, as well as distinguish each unique subject from each other. All the elements feel correctly proportioned for what they are and in regards to each other. The only thing that I would change would be increasing the size of the central hand/candle to make it appear more in front of the figure at the top of the composition.
