This piece pulls the eye around the page effectively with the straight up and down composition and the eyes on the faces directing you own eyes. The way in which the heads are merged is very effective at almost showing maybe movement, however it’s also interesting to read them as being merged into one. Effective use of marks throughout this piece particularly between the faces where they create a smear like effect. The use of shading on this piece are very convincing at showing the texture the skin is meant to be. The use of tone and hue in this piece show a great understanding the three dimensionality of the face shown effectively through the different angles the face is positioned, effective sense of proportions throughout, continuity is kept well through the different angles.
